The cohesion of our society is under threat from a global rightward shift, the rise of far-right parties, growing racism and the exclusion of refugees, Muslims, migrants and other groups.
The massive increase in deportations, demands for curfews and detention for asylum seekers, attacks on NGOs, cuts to minimum benefits – these all represent permanent human rights violations in Austria.
We stand for solidarity and we will not let the coalition government divide us through racism and austerity. Together with tens of thousands of people worldwide, we will be taking to the streets on 16 March 2019 to mark UN Anti-Racism Day. We will use our combined strength to confront racism and the right!
As a broad coalition of NGOs, refugee initiatives, political organisations and individual activists, we are standing up for social justice and against racism and fascism. Join our demonstration!
